Basil Strawberry Refresher 2

Strawberry season is starting and I’ve had a pint sitting next to some leftover basil in the fridge.  I’ve been dreaming all day about combining them for a “Welcome Spring!” cocktail. I was expecting a little trial and error but I must have rehearsed so many times in my imagination that the first version turned out exactly as I’d hoped.  I tested the creation on Brad when he got home and he confirmed the recipe was a winner.  This might turn into our drink of the summer.

If you’re not into gin I’m sure this would work beautifully with vodka.  Cheers!
